Cameroon First Daughter Brenda Biya Found Guilty of Defamation in Legal Battle with Artist Dencia

Cameroonian first daughter Brenda Biya (King Nastyy) has been found guilty of defamation in a legal case involving fellow artist Dencia.

This case, which dates back to 2021, took place in Geneva, Switzerland, and centered around serious accusations made by King Nastyy against Cameroon US-based artist Dencia.

In her statements, King Nastyy claimed that Dencia was involved in fraudulent activities, referred to as "419," and suggested that she was selling illegal products without proper authorization; saying that's how Dencia makes the money to support her expensive lifestyle.

Dencia strongly denied these claims, saying they were harmful and unfounded. In a statement Dencia said she felt “wounded” by her words.

The conflict escalated through a series of exchanges on Snapchat, where both artists expressed their views between July and October 2021. Dencia took further legal action after feeling that King Nastyy's statements negatively affected her reputation and personal life.

Dencia, mentioned that she was willing to invest all her resources to ensure King Nastyy received the message of her actions. She aims to set an example, implying that her decision comes from a desire to hold King Nastyy accountable for his alleged behavior.
