Little Girl Dies After Being Attacked by Dog in Cincinnati

Something very sad happened in Cincinnati on December 27. A little girl named Kingsley Renee Wright, who was only 3 years old, died after being attacked by a dog. She was visiting her family when this terrible thing happened.

The people who investigate deaths in Hamilton County confirmed that Kingsley was the little girl who died. They said she died because of the dog attack. Kingsley's father called 911, which is the phone number people call when they need help in an emergency. He told the person who answered the phone,

I just woke up, and my daughter is dead. There's blood everywhere, I don't know what happened.

The police came to the house right away. When they got there, they found Kingsley's body. She had very bad injuries. The police officers were told to turn off their body cameras because what they saw was too graphic. Two dogs were taken away from the house and are now being kept at a shelter for 10 days. This is what usually happens when dogs bite someone.

Kingsley's mom, Gina Smith, is very sad and upset. She said,

"I would not have let my baby be around dogs that might hurt her. Why would I do that?" She also said, "I just want to know why and how this happened." She wants answers.

Kingsley's family loved her very much. They remember her as a happy little girl who loved to sing and dance. She always saw the good things in life and made people smile. Kingsley is survived by her mom and two brothers, Devin and Bradley. They will miss her very much.

This sad incident reminds us that we need to be careful when we're around animals. We need to make sure they're safe and won't hurt us. Kingsley's family and friends will never forget her, and they hope that something like this will never happen again.
