Everton Sacks Manager Sean Dyche After Poor Run

Everton Football Club has sacked its manager, Sean Dyche, after a disappointing run of just one win in 11 games. The team is struggling in the Premier League, sitting 16th and just a point above the relegation zone.

The final straw came after a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth, where Everton failed to register a single shot on target. This was their eighth league defeat of the season, and they have struggled to score goals, failing to find the net in eight of their last 10 games.

The club has confirmed that former players Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman will take temporary charge of the team, starting with the FA Cup third-round tie against Peterborough on Thursday.

In a statement, the club said:

Sean Dyche has left his role as Senior Men's First Team Manager, effective immediately. We are starting the process of finding a new manager and will update fans soon.

This change comes just weeks after the Friedkin Group, an American firm, took over the club. The new owners promised to lead Everton into an "exciting new era" both on and off the pitch.
