Agony Strikes Sop Village in Ndu Sub Division

   In the small village of Sop in Ndu Sub Division, a terrible tragedy unfolded when the Mbororo tribe once again attacked. Late at night, they brutally killed a man and his wife in their own home. 

The husband, Mr. Mangoh George Nyako, was shot with a homemade gun, while his wife, Mangoh Blessing Shafi, was fatally stabbed with a dagger when she tried to raise an alarm. 

This horrifying incident highlights the extreme vulnerability of the unarmed villagers when faced with armed Mbororos. The victims were found early in the morning in their room, and despite efforts to save her, Mrs. Mangoh Blessing Shafi succumbed to her injuries at the Sop health center.

 The senseless violence and loss of innocent lives in Sop village serve as a stark reminder of the urgent need for better protection and security for communities under threat.
