Eye Problems Plague Attendees at Trump Rally in Arizona: Investigation Underway
Attendees at a rally held by Donald Trump in Arizona have complained of experiencing unexplained eye problems following the event.
The rally took place in Tucson, Arizona, on a scorching September 12th, attracting a crowd of over 2,000 individuals braving the sweltering 100-degree heat. Some Trump supporters reportedly sought medical attention, heading to the emergency room post-event.
The Trump campaign has initiated an investigation into this matter. The Secret Service, responsible for the protection of the former president, stated to News 4 Tucson that they had no knowledge of any unusual incidents at the rally and were not aware of any specific threats directed towards Trump during his Arizona visit.
During the rally, a select group of 48 individuals were afforded the privilege of standing on stage alongside Trump. Divided into two groups, one on each side of the stage, those on the left side did not report any ill effects. However, disturbingly, several members of the group positioned on the right side of the stage left the event complaining of severe eye discomfort.
Mayra Rodriguez, a former Planned Parenthood director who has since become a supporter of Trump, recounted her distressing experience to News 4 Tucson, describing burning eyes and visual impairment so severe that she sought treatment at the emergency room. She continues to suffer from painful symptoms after several days, struggling to see through a haze of white.
Another individual, choosing to remain anonymous, echoed similar sentiments, labeling the ordeal as "horrible." A man, also preferring to stay unidentified, shared his ordeal of excruciating eye redness and unbearable discomfort.
Kathleen Winn, a former Congressional candidate from Arizona's Congressional District 6, expressed her concerns to News 4 Tucson, hoping the incidents were not deliberate and expressing the wish that this was not a targeted attack.
